Ansett will be getting some B767s from Air Canada. Does anyone know the registration numbers? And would they be internally refurbished into Ansett standards?
Regards
Jimmy
PS Just saw on channel 10 news that a "Canada air" (I don't know how can they be so unprofessional) 767 for Ansett made an emergency landing in Sydney ealier today... They called it "Another embarrassment for Ansett"... Well, was it Ansett's pilot??

GREAT ARTICLE! I LOVE IT! : )
Actually, these are suppost be CP crew operated under AC name. As of now they still have not merged the work force yet. Therefore all flight numbers that starts with 3 and looks like AC3XXX are operated by CP crew, and they are all ER versions which stops in Honolulu from Canada. I hope they can be delievered ASAP. And does anyone know that what will AC use to replace those B763ERs? Or maybe AC just have surplus of aircrafts?

AC is getting another 4 brand new 763ER, and 4 new A330-300's to replace these 3 planes as well as a couple of 762's that are parked. The reason they're getting rid of those 763's is that they were the short term leased aircraft they picked up for capacity last year. I believe they are actually ex-ANZ aircraft.

Actually, I just remember something, I was flying CP's B763ER from YVR to YUL under AC's name. And if u check those aircrafts, they r new to AC and have 4 doors on the sides. I remember seeing there were lotta Spanish on the aircraft. So I guess those must be from a South American Airlines, am I right?
