Ok I need some help here. I've been cataloging the names of all the Hawaiian Airlines ships, including the older DC-9's, 10's and L1011's. I'm having difficulty finding the names on the following a/c. I've done a search for the topic and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. If this has been previously posted, please forgive the redundancy. Mahalo to anyone that can help me out.

767's - N588HA, N594HA

DC-9 - N603DC, N674MC, N601AP, N650HA, N1332U, N660HA, N661HA, N903H, N902H, N557AS

DC-10 - All EXCEPT: N116AA, N122AA, N146AA, N152AA, N153AA, N161AA, N12061, N68060

L1011 - N762BE, N763BE, N764BE, EI-BTN, N765BE, N766BE

Again, I'm looking for the ships names on these birds. For example, N581HA is named Manu o Ku. I have all the names to the other a/c in their fleet & fleet's history. Mahalo to anyone who can help me out. I've already searched the data base for these a/c and can't find the names on them.

I can only help with the two 767's - N588HA is Iwa and N594HA is 'Ulili.

Good luck with the others,
R

Mahalo LOA! Do you know if HAL decided to just stop naming their a/c with the DC-10's because they knew the 76's were coming?

I only worked on the plane for four years - so don't believe me.
Do a picture search on this database - it's called 'A.

A' is the Hawaiian named for the Booby. (Masked, red and brown).

Assume you mean "Hawaii" for N764BE and "Kauai" (spelling) for N765BE.

Others:

EI-BTN - Kahoolawe
N763BE - Maui
N769BE - Lanai

I couldn't find a name for the only other L1011 operated by HA, N41020 (ex-TWA), in the HA fleet from May 1993 to June 1994.

Ok so I count a total of 19 767's and 19 717's for the HAL fleet in current operation. Is that right? And does anyone know why N595HA was cancelled? I hear it was because of the bankrupt filings a while back?

Mahalo to everyone that's helped me out with the names. I'm still looking for the following though. If anyone can shed some light, it'll be grately appreciated!

DC-9 - N603DC, N601AP, N650HA, N1332U, N660HA, N661HA, N903H, N902H, N557AS and "Upolu". I was able to get the name off one of the DC-9's (Upolu) but not the reg #.

DC-10 - N125AA, N126AA, N127AA. N128AA, N129AA, N132AA, N133AA, N135AA, N140AA, N141AA, N148AA, N160AA, N171AA, N35084.

Mahalo again to everyone for your help!
