Any news on the plans for the configurations. Have heard discussion on more Premium Economy. Given the A380 is new would this be reducing Business Class and adding more Premium Economy and therefore only changing the upper deck?

I could see them removing rows 24 and 25 of J on the A380 and putting 4 new rows of Y+. That cuts J down to 60 seats and puts Y+ up to 60. But I could also see them rearranging the rear lavs and self serve bar and getting rid of row 39, which would put the Y+ at something between 56 and 60 inclusive.

Of all the things to worry about... the Wookie has no pants.

Depending on where QF sees J class demand going forward it is possible that all J class on the lower deck of the 744s will be removed and replace by Y+.

There is no doubt that QF will accelerate the rollout of Y+ particularly across the 2 class 744s.

It will be interesting to see if QF are also planning to introduce Y+ on the A333s.

Well at least Quantas will save money on fuel by not having to take the ashes back home from England this year along with your cricket team...!! (Sorry, couldn't resist!).

I don't think Qantas (note spelling) is the carrier for the Australian Crcket team. IIRC it is Emirates. Anyway do u expect to hold the ashes for any longer than 18 Months  Wink
