There have been multiple pictures and videos of ZA002 posted and she does look pretty nice.

Dang, figures id be behind the curve, was it posted in the other 787 forums? Cuz I stopped following along when it turns into looooong banter and misreading of each others points. (My point is I do not believe I am the only one who would have missed these pics if they were posted in said forums) I also did plenty searches in forums and pictures. I thought pictures of this would get on the front page...

You know, I'm glad you started this thread. The other one was really getting tiresome with all the arguments. Hope we can continue here on a more positive note.

Personally, I don't think it that pretty a bird. The front section doesn't do it for me, like other Boeing models do. I always preferred Boeings to Airbuses for that reason too (visual appeal I mean, nothing else).
Not that it matters in any way of course, if she flies well.

if you look at the other 787 photos on this site (using the photo search engine), most of them have been taken from a low angle either from the back or the front. That way the plane looks a lot longer and sleeker. Possibly using a wide angle lens.

Personally I find it much more visually pleasing than the 777. But to each his own.

Quoting Wouwout (Reply 13): BTW is this a taxi test with enginess OFF? just pulling the plane around?
From the picture posted by the OP, it sure looks like it has engines installed.

Exactly what I have always been thinking! I've almost only seen postive remarks about the 787s appearances, but the front doesn't do it for me either. I miss the "old" style Boeing cockpit windows...

Even though it is in ANA colors it will never be delivered to ANA. The first 6 test aircraft have been rejected by their respective airlines.

FINALLY!!!! We have seen a new step in the 787 assemblies. I am very excited, no longer talk about delays, not they are just only about deliveries. Let's see one in AA colors. It looks very nice. I give it a check of approval.

Never say never. NH evidently wants planes ASAP so if the performance is acceptable - especially for regional missions around Asia - then they might take her.

First 6 would make nice KC-787 development aircraft!
25 DTWLAX: Deliveries??? still far away.. Boeing still needs to get the aircraft off the ground. Again... even if they need ASAP, how will they put it to use if
27 SuseJ772: Honestly, I'd agree. I love Boeing planes, and maybe it is just a bad angle, but frankly, I am a little disappointed now that I have seen the ANA liv
28 757GB: I agree. I also remember the pictures from the time this aircraft came out of the paint shop, and most people liked it. I have to say that even thoug
29 SKAirbus: Looks nice BUT those engine nacelles are very thick and unattractive!
30 Spacecadet: Narita could use a few more buses to their remote stands
