Good day all,

Can someone help me out with this question.

Particular the airlines operating to ALA (Almaty) ex mainland Europe and ex-Asia, including cargo flights (with main-deck capacity). The number of frequencies will be superb information also.

Many thanks in advance!

I know that LH is flying to ALA, LH Cargo as well. Seen KLM Cargo and Cargolux there as well. BMI I saw as well with an A319...
UPS, FedEx as well with MD11Fs.

Frequencies? I don't know...

From Europe:
BT
VV
BD
OK
KL
LH
FV
S7

Also Air Astana offer some flights to Europe, such as LHR. The only frequency I could find was BD, who operate 3 flights a week to ALA.

I think I saw yours (or perhaps some else) trip report to Kazakhstan (Astana maybe). What is the demand for Lufthansa Cargo to send MD-11F there? Is it a hub for flights between Europe and the Far East?

Yes, only a fuel stop as we cannot fly nonstop with all the cargo in the cargo hold. So we used to do fuel stops in TSE, ALA. Now TSE is closed for us and we fly to KJA. but ALA is still used by us.
But I don't know how often we still fly there. I know the flight from HKG is going via ALA to FRA...

The following flights are shown (wide body and freighter only I am afraid).

KLM ex AMS

Tuesday 74F
Sunday 74F

Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday 332

LH (PAX) ex FRA

Thursday 343
Sunday 343
Monday 343
Wednesday 333
Friday 343
Tuesday 333 (Changing to 343 in September)
Saturday 333

Cargolux ex LUX

Thursday 74F
Sunday 74F

Aeroflot ex SVO

Friday / Sunday M1F

Asiana ex ICN

Tuesday / Friday 767

I could not find any schedules for freighters out bound to ALA based on LH Cargo. I have based the above information on details of services into ALA based on the September issue of the OAG flight schedule.

I hope this helps.

El Al Cargo also fly there almost daily.

Air Arabia three or four times weekly.

Iran Air once weekly from IKA.

Etihad Airways thrice weekly.

Kam Air from Kabul once weekly.

China Southern and Hainan Airlines once or twice weekly both from Urumqi.

Egypt Air will be flying there from October four times weekly.
