Hi. because we're talking about future just to tell you that TAP is at this moment ready to replace their "getting" old A.310-300. I know that the contenders will be the A330 ( dont know about the model 200 or 300 ) and the B.767-300. I think that the 767 is just there to confuse a little bit and because TAP was in the past a good Boeing client so at leat TAP must ear from them! The opinion is that TAP will order the A330-200, not the big 300 version and that will give a reflection what Swissair as, we'll have probably a 5 aircraft order and they will replace nicely the A310 in African / North America and some European routes!
And then TAP will have the famous cockpit interchange A319/320/321/330/340!!!
Great day for TAP though when we receive the confirmation!

I think the best choice for TAP would be a mix of A330-200 and A330-100. The A330-200 is superb, but I believe it may be too big for some routes, especially for some Africans. Anyway, whatever A330 comes, it'll be welcomed! I hope TAP could start with them a "fresh" paint scheme! Where did you hear/ read this information?

I read this information in the weekly newspaper "Expresso" some time ago! I think they will have any information after the new government starts to rule just after October I presume. About the sceme I do also would like to see a new livery for TAP, the last revisons were in 1963 with the Caravelle untill 1978 when a new B. 727-200 ( CS-TBW ) came, now it passed already 21 years and it would be nice to see a new livery, about that I don't know but the passing of the century could be a nice date to change, I know they're receiving the A319 with the present livery but I also now that they will receive 2 new A321 during next year, perhaps then they'll change or with the arrival of the new A330 if they come!
