I know they offer one in Toulousse (sp?) but is there a tour for the Hamburg facility?

Yes, there is a tour in Hamburg. But before you ask: no, unfortunately this tour does not include the A380 production facilities. Only the A 319/20/21 production facilities.
Here is a link for on-line booking. http://globe-tours.de/en/visit-airbus/airbus.html

If you go there - enjoy the tour (and don't forget that the weather in Hamburg can be really dingy).

Best regards

Even so, I'm planning on checking this tour out when I'm in town in November.

Be aware that the don't offer that many tours in English. I looked into it once a few years ago and discovered that there were no English tours scheduled during the time I was in Hamburg  Sad. Of course you can still go if you're fluent in German or don't mind not being able to understand the guide.

Heck, chances are you know more about the program than the guides do.  Wink

I was part of a private tour a few years back that did include the A380 line.  hypnotized

You can check for English tours on their website. Seems to me most English tours are on Mondays.

and the cool thing about the tour in Hamburg's airbus facility is that you really get close to the planes in FAL (as opposed to the Toulouse site) - I did it a few years ago and they let you walk around the planes at a few meters distance. But as has been said before it only goes for the A32X line... in Toulouse it had been very different as I remember...

Good to see that the person without whom Airbus Industrie would not exist is honored by naming a street after him, right at the location.

Merci, mes amis.
