There have been rumours about this for a while but today it was made official, the A380 will be appearing at this years International Airshow to be held in Portrush on the 5th & 6th September.

This is a fantastic achievement by the organisers and I would like to offer my congratulations.

Now all we need is two days of good weather.

Nothing comes down faster than a VTOL aircraft upside down.

Damn.. im in London those two days... Would deffo have been a trip up the M1 otherwise...

In addition to Portrush the A380 will also be doing a fly-by @ BHD.

Apparently its part of a UK tour scheduled for next weekend. Flight plan including times is as follows:
Edinburgh (1340)
Prestwick (1400)
Portrush (airshow short display) (1420)
Belfast City (1440)
Broughton (1508)
Birmingham (1540)
