Aberdeen and Newcastle to Bergen start 5th November. Fares from £89 one-way (and a £6 card fee per booking). Don’t forget that T3 is a niche and business-focused carrier, hence its higher fares. Will the J41 or S20 operate these?

From Aberdeen:

Mon-Fri: 0840-1110
Sun: 1430-1650

To Aberdeen:

Mon-Fri: 1615-1645
Sun: 2000-2020

From Newcastle:

Mon-Fri: 1030-1335

To Newcastle:

Mon-Fri: 1430-1535

Thanks BestWestern.

Pre-recession and pre-credit crunch, T3 was offering one-way fares including taxes on a variety of its domestic routes for around £49. This included SOU-ABZ via NCL on the S20. I was going to book. Of course, this was quickly cut when the difficulties came. Never mind!

Quoting Pe@rson (Reply 2):
Thanks BestWestern.

Pleasure sir...

Quoting Pe@rson (Reply 2):
the S20

The Saab 2000 is a comfortable and fast aircraft to fly in for the passenger, but notoriously bad maintenance wise for the airline.

2hrs+ on a J41 isnt going to be that much of a pleasure!

They're also adding a 6th weekly flight on NCL-SVG, again operated by the J41

The J41 is an economic aircraft to operate and eastern are a well known regional in the UK.

On ABZ BGO they are competing against Wilderoe who are operating a double daily service on a far more comefortable aircraft, with fares starting at £73 plus taxes
