LOT took delivery of Embraer 175 today. The aircraft is 600th from e-jet family produced by Embraer. LOT was the first launching customer for e-jet family and currently has 16 in its fleet (10 E170 and 6 E175). Today's delivery is first in 12 more spread until 2012.

The 600th jet will have a special logo on it, no pics found, sorry.

So they will have 28 in total, or do they have options on more?

The way I read this title was that LOT was getting it's 600th E-Jet. I was like "I didn't think LOT was that big".

What an un-inspiring 600th commemoration livery. But I guess you have to ask the customer pretty please can we plaster a giant number on your brand new plane with shiny livery. . .

As of 2Q 2009: 882 firm orders, 794 options, with 554 deliveries. (obviously as of now we have more deliveries)

Cool.

No one mentioned LOT changed their website. Its uglier now. This always happens. Just when I get accustomed to the new design, they bring out an uglier and blander one.

BTW just finished reading LOT financial results and strategy PDF's and powerpoints. Things never look good for them, stick in there little guy.

I think they will have about 30, they may change some E175 into E190/195. The numbers are not final as at one point they were going to sublease two or three to the government.
