Effective winter 09 the following changes on Thai's network to India will take place.

MAA -- Will switch from a daily A330-300 to A300

CCU -- Will switch from daily A300 to A330-300.

HYD -- Will be a 4 weekly A330-300, earlier it was an A300.

BLR -- Will remain a daily A330-300

DEL -- Will be a double daily A333/B772.

BOM -- will increase from 10 weekly A333 (night flight)/A300 (day flight) to a 13 weekly B744. With this F class will be introduced on the BOM - BKK sector and the only sector in India to have F class.

Note:- Switch from A333 to A300 and v.v is not all of a big deal hence I did not term it as upgrade or downgrade. TG's A333s are configured as (42/221) and A300s as (28/232) just a difference of 3 seats. However there is another version of the A300 configured as ( 48/201) but I doubt it would be used to India due to high number of J class seats.

BOM - BKK will now be interesting to watch as 9W has gone double daily B738; IC already operating a daily A321 and CX operating a 3 weekly B773 ( BOM - BKK - HKG) along with TG. And also Kingfisher has plans to launch BOM - BKK as well.

Wow, those are some pretty low density a333's, especially for a 2 class layout. IIRC SQ seats 280 in their a333's (also 2 class).

Thai's A333 are configured as 42/263 for a total of 305 seats.

seatguru.com shows 263 in total. But 305 looks more realistic; I'll see the website.

I'd prefer seatexpert.com rather than seatguru.com at least, the graphic at expert is much nicer.

So CFRM 42/263 for TG A330-300 HS-TEA-TEM TG code 333
and 36/263 for TG A330-300 HS-TEN onwards TG code 330

Let's just blame it on yields.
