How Many Northwest 727s?

Hello,

How many 727s did Northwest have? I think it was upwards of 70 -200s, and I don't know how many -100s. Does anyone have figures on this? Thanks in advance!

I believe NW received 57 727-251, losing one on Dec 1, 1974. They then got 15 from Republic and later on a few -225 from defunct Eastern.

I show NW as operating a total of 114 727s, 85 delivered new and 29 acquired from other carriers, including the 15 inherited from the Republic merger.

Delivered new (total 85):
-100 - 20
-100C - 12
-200 - 24
-200Adv - 29

Acquired from other sources (total 29):
-100 - 1 (previously operated by PSA/AS/NH/MX)
-200 - 4 (ex-Braniff)
-200Adv - 15 (ex-Republic)
-200Adv - 9 (ex-Eastern)

Total - 114
