Just 48 hours after our friends at Delta sent out a letter explaining the sunset of WorldPerks in the coming weeks - and warning of possible problems - no one can log onto nwa.com to access their account, book travel using their account, book award travel using their account, view reservations and so forth...It's been this way all day. This is going to be fun the coming few weeks (sarcasm).

I would suggest anyone here with WorldPerks accounts with mileage print out their mileage balances when, and if, we're ever allowed to log-on to nwa.com again. This was apparently not a major program upgrade to the site and it's a mess. Makes me wonder what happens when Delta's inferior I.T. department actually transfers and closes WorldPerks accounts over to SkyMiles.

I was just on their web site and checked into my account with no problems.

I would try it again.

What's inferior about Delta's IT department?

Nothing since its going to basically fail to exist. Just about everything in IT is moving to MSP and NW folks taking over.

Just about everything except the IT systems themselves!

 checkmark  I wonder how long it will take DL to adopt what NW now has, things like 2D barcodes on b/ps.

I think all their servers should run VMS (if they're not already).

VMS = best O.S.

It's back up and running now but going by postings on FlyerTalk - nwa.com was down for upwards of 8 hours today for WorldPerks members.

And for Airstud...simple answer...go play on nwa.com and then delta.com. Also feel free to play on mobile.nwa.com and then go over to mobile.delta.com. You'll find out the answer fast enough...
