Ansett New Zealand In Trouble?

What's the deal with Ansett New Zealand? I hear there are 6 pilots who have not been locked out and four who have signed new contracts. That's 10 out of 135 pilots working!!

Are Qantas coming to the rescue or will they wait for it to fold and then quickly start up?

I'm in Brisbane. Haven't heard anything more on this subject. Interesting days ahead it seems for our friends across the pond.

I only fly in the cabin and am an ocassional guest in the jumpseat. I have done a bit of IT work for major airlines, and my wife works for MH now and used to AN.
