Hi everyone.

According to

http://www.ua2go.com/flifo/FlightSum...g=&dest=&time=00002359&Check=Check

United flight 926 departing SFO on Sep. 24th has been redirected to ORD due to "Aircraft Servicing ". Do anyone know more about this? My dad in on this flight.

Thanks in advance.

UA926 due to arrive ORD 05:08 local. Not due to depart again until 16:00 with new ETA i n FRA 06:58 tomorrow.

The reason the site is giving is schedule change due to crew.

I am a bit suprised that the flight being delayed by so long in ORD. Isn't ORD a UA hub? and don't UA operate 777's from there?.

Surely they have standby crew they can call on to crew the flight. I would have though it would cost UA a lot less to re crew the flight compared to the cost they are now going to pay out for hotels, food etc.

I don't get i either. I was surprised when my dad wrote that he was being sent to a hotel - no weekend for him.
