Oh when I was in Israel...... Days before I was suppost to fly to Turkey but didnt in the end.. But LIsten Listen
A Turkish Airliner was landing at Ben Gurion... INstead of getting ready to land on the runway he was going to land on the main road during rush our .. The Tower called him up and told him what in the world are u doing?!?!?! CLIMB CLIMB!!!!!! He was ready to land.. he had flaps down and the gear.. haha this was funny when I was ready about it.. hehe

I think it was funny that the pilot was that dumb to mistake a road for a runway.....

unfortunately this thing hapens all the time at ben gurion .almost always whith ex soviet airlines.
