A Beech 100 - N2TX - made a no-power off-field landing today near Fort Worth Texas.

Three people reporting injuries. No fire - the cabin remained intact - heavy damage - but intact.

News reports in Dallas/Fort Worth say the pilot reported both engines failed. Nice slide show of the damaged plane and rescue on WFAA website in Dallas. Glad it appears everyone survived without critical injuries.

From the track log it looks like they were at 4,000 ft and went down in about 3 to 5 minutes from that altitude. The elevation where the plane went down is 750-800 ft ASL.

WOW, I've seen that airplane quite a few times. Lucky no fire or reported critical injuries.

Looks like the plane slid sideways across a pond, lost a wing, and both engines... glad to hear everyone got out relatively unscathed!
