Reading the receant posts about changing Alitalia's has inspired me to pose this question. Have a look at the various JAT liveries through out history:
The current one is about 3 to 4 years old, (the only diffference between it and the second-last is the bigger titles). The main change was made about 10 years ago but then around 98 they changed the small titles to the bigger ones they have now. Even though it is so new I still don't like it, it looks cheap. I think it could be slightly modified to make it look more professional than it does know. If AirOrange and other designers have some free time I would love to see your ideas.

I think Jat should have kept their old color scheme back in the 80's. Well maybe just kept the tail design and maybe an all white fuselage. And made their engines with the dark blue to match the tail. I don't like the new color scheme at all.

Zdravo moji Jat-ovci,
well I do not like the new new cs, but I have to say that on the bigger airplanes (like the only DC10 they have) it suites a lot. Immagine a B762 or an A330 wearing it, it is not too bad.
Is it true that JAT is considering new Regio-Jet's? I have read somewhere on the net?

I must say that I like the current livery. The tail is nice and with the large titles, the c/s really looks good.
By the way, there are not many planes who wear the whole c/s, some are completely white, some with onle titles etc. Among all JAT-aircraft I have seen at CPH and ARN there are only one 737 and one 727 who wore the full c/s. Great that they still fly the 727 : )

Hi
I think that the colour is great, if only JAT would paint all their aircraft! Today I flew from Belgrade with AUA flight (F70) and I saw lot of JAT aircraft there. There were some 737s fully painted, some without tail logo (white tail) and finally there were one 737 and one 727 completely white!
That was so weird to see, imagine such four 737 and one 727 differently painted standing next to British airways 737 in new colour scheme, Swissair 320 and Austrian F70...
Well only aircraft that today had for me had old fashioned colour scheme at Belgrade was Olympic 737-200!
I think that now JAT can get some foreign investment finally, and take off for new program of expansion, and better development of Belgrade hub! Actually, today there were a lot of international passengers at Belgrade!
Hopefully, JAT will paint all their aircraft!

Recently I was informed that some Balkan countries will join their forces and are creating one airline. The brand JAT will possibly disappear. But given the actual facts of war in that area this plan could mayby take some time. Be continued...
