It might have been a NW DC-9. My friend who is a FA was on a flight from MSP was working that flight. He said that after the thrust reversers were activated, the brakes were applied but were not working on the snow covered runway. The reversers were reactivated and the plane was finally stopped, but when it turned onto the taxiway, it fishtailed. The wheel then locked at a 90 degree angle and they were stuck out in the snow until they finally got towed to a gate.
