Looks like DSM will see some rare visitors this week. Tomorrow, another World War II honor flight will go from DSM to Washington, D.C. Last time this occurred it was operated by a NW 744. However, this time there are 2 flights going to Washington, D.C. Also, as you can imagine, the flight went into IAD. I'm curious what aircrafts will operate the charter. I couldn't expect 2 DL/NW 744's, could I?
Also, on Friday and Saturday, CO will send in a 738 to operate the charter for the Baylor Bears football team for their game against Iowa State in Ames.

Tomorrow you can expect a 747 from NW/DL and a Sun Country 738.
The public: They always know better, even though they often know nothing

We just had our 4th and 5th Honor Flights at MLI this past weekend, and my grandfather was on the one on October 9th, in fact. I spoke to him and he was truly moved by all of the support and by everything that was done for the vets. All of our Honor Flights have 'only' been SY 738s. Lucky you guys get 744s!

Very cool. I wish my grandpa, who lived in Des Moines and served in WWII, was still around to participate in something like this.
