Thanks for the headsup, Leo!
I never got the ones from the KLM UK site, and hoping I'll get these!

Quoting Fn1001 (Reply 3): This KLM action website is only accessible for residents of the USA
I got the same thing.
So I quoted it, and sent them an email stating that the next time I am travelling overseas I will remember that KLM flies only to the USA and not Canada.

A common factor that all of you seem to have is the fact that your flags are from the USA. Maybe last time, U.S. consumers never received theirs, but Europeans did. Now it's the opposite, they are giving the U.S. public a chance.

It's quite possible, but there wasn't anything on the order form last time that said Europe only, or not available in the US. That should be easy enough to program into the form if you don't want people wondering what happened to the tags you said you would send them.

I know some people in the US that got theirs, such as my ex and a friend of mine. They had done theirs after I told them about it and received it about a month later. Whether it got lost or not processed, I wasn't too concerned. So a number of people in this country did get theirs. It's OK that I didn't get it then since I had changed my info a few months later.

It's worth noting that last time the promotion was specifically on the KLM-UK site and had been intended for residents of the UK. The address on it automatically specified that it was in the UK, but some people in the USA (and other places) had luck getting them by just adding their country into the address lines. I recall that my address showed up as being "Any Town, IL 12345 USA UK" as a result of that. At the time, KL didn't even have a site for the USA since all bookings were handled by NW.
With NW integrating into DL, KL appropriately opened a USA website a while back and is now running the promotion for Americans specifically. The only difference is now they've tied up some loose ends from the IT perspective and seem to have made it impossible (or at least far more difficult) for people outside the USA to take advantage of the targeted promotion.

just ordered mine. Got the one with the A330. Sure I've never flown on KLM before, but their color scheme looks beautiful and I'm sure the AA people won't mind them on my bags when I fly to FRA this Christmas...

Baaaaahh! So frustrating that I can't get some new ones of these! The UK site tells me that we can't get them any more and the US site doesn't let us have any either. Grrrrrrr.

Yeah, this would be a good time for non US residents to have a friend or family member that they can send the tags to and just have them forwarded when they arrive... I guess if they don't cost anything, they have to narrow the group they're targeting... otherwise they would be sold out SO quickly...

I got these last time from the UK site, but had it sent to Canada by entering postal code and country in one of the fields. I am unable to access this one now ...
Are you able to upload your own picture to be placed on the tag? That's what I did last time, and still use them.

I wonder if this is a left-over from Northwest? Until October 1, you could order your own WorldPerks baggage tags. I ordered several pairs Sep 30 for the cost of 1,000 miles a piece.
