I noticed today a picture of VX-VXA" now wearing the new QF color scheme. Since "Yananyi Dreaming" is "XB", can anyone tell me if she will be repainted in those colors, or repainted in the standard QF scheme?

I hope she gets a new aboriginal scheme out of all of them Yananyi is the only one I don't like (got nicknamed the rather unfortunate Vomit commit when I was at QF....) but who knows when it will be repainted QF are going nice slow and random so may have a while yet to wait and see......

Quick note Aus regos are VH not VX ; )

Hi Smi0006 ... I always thought that the Yananyi Scream... err... Dreaming, I mean, was the blue coloured B743. In which case it sits at Avalon engineless, and stripped down to the blue undercoat and red tail "sans Roo".

Just to clear up any misconceptions VH VXB a 738 is in fact named YANANYI DREAMING.

I am not aware of any plan to repaint this ac, in fact, I would be very surprised if QF decided to repaint.
The ac AIRBEAR refers to is NALANJI DREAMING, a 743 (VH EBU) now in the state described by AIRBEAR, a photo of it in an inglorious state at AVV.

Would be nice perhaps to see one of the domestic A330s or an A380 featuring one of the new aboriginal schemes... But still I'm sure whilst the cost of the artistic design and slight increase in paint costs are not that huge perhaps QF management are focusing on more important areas atm, looking forward to hopefully seeing QF develop and grow more once the current recovery slowly starts to swing into effect over the next two or three years...  Smile

Hi TN486, thanks for clearing that one up for me. I saw both a/c in my travels last week, as it happens. The B743 on Thurs. as I drove to Geelong and VXB on Friday morning, when my return flight to SYD pulled up at a gate next to VXB.
