Slightly off-topic but this topic made me wonder something I experienced last month:
On 4th september I took AF164 from CDG to SGN with a 1 hour (or a bit more) stopover in BKK. We had to stay on the plane at that moment while the ground crew was cleaning the plane. Very awkword because I had to lift my legs for the vacuum cleaner, and also all IFE and the air conditioning was turned off and all doors were opened. My friend took the same flight on 5th september, one day later, and he had to disembark in BKK during the same stopover. What could be the reason for this different approach on the same flight? Could this be te same with the SQ flight in NRT?
