BA, Virgin Or Air India From LHR-DEL?

I´ll be flying from Heathrow to Delhi at the end of the month and I wan´t to know which carrier offer the best service.

I´ll appreciate any comments.

I had flown all three airlines 3 times within the past 5 years. I'd go with Virgin any day.

Air India is straightaway ruled out.
BA has the greater frequency.
But for service, I would go for Virgin anytime.

United - lousy service in coach, but lots of Star Alliance freq flyer miles - and daily 747-400 service.
