Well it's a shame to see ATL suspended. I always looked forward to seeing MP Cargo when there on a photo trip. Partially because they always came in on the north runways which meant a guarnateed view from the hotel balcony. But also because they were a bit "exotic" when compared to what one normally sees at ATL during the day.

Nice to see MP Cargo serving CUR but are these flights only fuelstops or are they also bringing and/or picking up cargo in CUR? Also, will they only use the MD11F or also the 744ERF? I assume only the MD11F?

Schedule for CUR operated with MD11 via fuel stop at Aguadilla (Puerto Rico).

Quoting 76er (Reply 4): Quoting 777way (Thread starter):
Chennai and Doha which were expected to be dropped
Incorrect
Information based on the fact the two are excluded from the planned schedule of AF-KLM and MP cargo operating out of AMS which makes it seem they were to be dropped.

Information based on official MP cargo website schedules provided in the links.
Very good to see MVD complementing MP cargo routes in South America. Recent additions of MP cargo in the region are also VCP in Brazil early this year and SCL in Chile last year.

Nowhere does it state that the MP flight to CUR stops in Aguadilla.... Only the SJU operations go through Aguadilla as per the small remarks below the schedule.

Quoting SXI899 (Reply 10): the MP6717, which is routed EZE-MVD-CUR-AMS
Not surprising that today doing my grossery shop I found more Uruguayan products than usual in Albert Heijn (Ahold Group Supermarket in Netherlands). Blackberries and meat are now tradtionally sources from Uruguay.
Any idea what are the other typical products carried by MP in MVD? It is impressive to see MP inroads in South America: service to SCL and EZE in 2008, VCP early in 2009 and now MVD. I think we could have a chance of MP in MAO in future.

it is really a shame that MP canceled LIM, and to be honest I can not understand it.
Currently it is the perishable high season from Peru, and all flights are fully booked, and space into Europe is limited, LAN is doing a hell of money via MIA on the freighter routes into AMS.
The key point is that the westbound yields into LIM are also healty and space limited. So I can really not understand the decicion....

Quoting Hardiwv (Reply 15): LH B74F FRA-VCP stops in DKR. As mentioned above MP MD11F AMS-VCP stops in TFS. It is not listed in the schedule because it is operational stop only.

Maybe KL is having a lot of cargo in the belly of the daily 777-200 to LIM?

Quoting Gecmd11 (Reply 16): I Believe LCAG from VCP is all MD11F ??
LCAG operates VCP with MD-11F and B777F (Aerologic). Aerologic is LH Cargo/DHL Express joint venture which also flies VCP and operates exclusive fleet of B777F.
