I was wondering why there is no flights between KOA in big Island and LAS in NV.
Both destinations are purely tourist destinations, why United airline (which send 767 to KOA) didn't think about it , or Hawaiian airlines.

Simply not enough traffic. LAS for HA is mostly for Hawaiians going to vacation in Vegas. And since most Hawaiians live on Oahu, it makes sense to start the flights from there. It's only a 25 minute hop from KOA to HNL, and with 3 flights a day (most days) out of HNL on HA, it's not that much more difficult to transfer before heading to sin city. But I doubt traffic out of KOA (or Vegas residents vacationing in KOA) would be enough to fill up a 767 even once a week.
One smooth landing is skill. Two in a row is luck. Three in a row and someone is lying.
You also cannot forget about the Boyd Vacations Hawaii charters Omni Air International fly six times a week between HNL and LAS to the various Boyd Gaming properties (their non-Coast Casinos properties) in Las Vegas. Those bring a number of folks over as well.
