hows this for short notice!
" bmibaby suspending services

bmibaby is regrettably suspending its services from Manchester to Alicante and Malaga.

The last date of travel from Manchester to Malaga will be 14 November 2009 and to Alicante will be 15 November 2009.

In the current market bmibaby needs to respond to consumer demand and as a result the airline recently added extra flights to Prague, a very strong and popular route from Manchester. In addition the airline has also launched two new routes from Manchester to Lourdes and to Faro for summer 2010.

bmibaby remains committed to flying from Manchester and now provides frequent flights from the region to 16 European destinations.

Any affected passengers will be contacted by the airline as soon as possible and will receive a full refund.

bmibaby apologises for any inconvenience caused "

listed on manchester airports website today.

Cross my heart and hope to fly, f**k right off into the middle of the sky... that would be my ecstasy

The Irony is, I saw a BMI banner ad on a website I frequent today that went along the lines of:

"BA may be grounded, but you don't have to be- There are other ways to get where you want."
