My partner and I are building a fence in South San Francisco near Westborough and the 280. We started today in the drizzle, which turned to rain so we did not get much done. But, what we lacked in labor, I more than made up for in spotting. No less than 5 777s (mostly UA but possibly 1 ANA) and two 744s. My first time seeing CX and my first time seeing JA in about 30 years! We will not be back in that neighborhood until Monday. This is one job I can not wait to get back to!

This reminds me of a month or so ago, when me and my mom went to pick up my dad at the airport. What I was expecting was the Westjet 737, and some AC Jazz CRJ-200s, but in the end my dad's flight was delayed about an hour, and I saw a Purolator (Kelowna Flightcraft Charter) 727-200F, the Jazz CRJ in Star Alliance colours, and a UA Express CRJ-200 in new colours. Plus the standard Jazz CRJ-200 and WJ 737. Another day I was picking up my mom from a flight and saw a Miami Air 737-800 and Canadian North 732. Not something you see everyday at YQR.

Day three working in South San Francisco yielded the "Hi Seoul" Asiana 777 and my first Emirates ever; a 777. Very cool. Yesterday was Virgin America day, I guess. I saw a lot of them fly over. I am very impressed at the ATC keeping everyone separated. Some of those flights come close, to the casual observer on the ground. Very sad to see the work there come to an end. *sigh*
