Just looking through some old magazines and came across several photos of 707's, 727,s & 747's including SP's of Air Gulf Falcon from around 2000-2001.
Seems they were based in SHJ though officially registered in Swaziland and the aircraft were registered in all sorts of African countries and Aruba as flags of convenience - see **. They also had an affiliated company in Sudan called Spirit of Africa who leased some aircraft.
Does anyone know what happened to them? Assume they were shut down for similar reasons to Air Cess who operated at a similar time.
Does anyone know the fate of all these classic airliners?
The only one I can find for sure as WFU is ex BA 741 c/n 248 3C-GFB which was left to die in SHJ

I recall that they gifted a 747 to Saddam Hussein around that time and sanctions were brought against them, which presumably affected their operations (not so much that they flew to the west, but in terms of obtaining spares.)
