Starting with teh Air France flight around Thanksgiving, the return of the Emirates flight from Dubai and Lufthansa next spring, JFK will see 3 daily A380's. The question should be when do we an A380 from Asia to JFK ? Korean Air, I think will be the first Asian A380, Singapore Air could surprise us since they have 6 or 7 in teh fleet already.

Quoting Scouseflyer (Reply 6): They're actually up to 10 already with 9 more to come over the next 2.5 years.
They have little to spare for such a long-haul route, however. Unless something miraculous happens with regards to their impending SIN-HND service in October 2010. Drop the FRA-JFK service, introduce the SIN-HND-JFK A380 service? I can only dream...
It's huaiwei...not huawei. I have nothing to do with the PRC! :)

Quoting AndyGarrett (Reply 9): Is Asia to JFK seeing how it is a two aircraft route just not economical for the A-380 at this point in time?
Not sure how economical or not it would be, but KE for instance opeates 2 daily flights between ICN-JFK (1x744 and 1x773), I could see one of these flights being upgraded to the 380, that is after KE puts the 380 on LAX.
