DALLAS/FORT WORTH, May 6 // -- Air France announces today the
launch of new daily non-stop service between Dallas/Fort Worth International
Airport and Air France's hub at Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Air France flight 043 will leave Dallas/Fort Worth at 7:15 p.m. and arrive
Paris at 11:35 a.m. the following day. Flight 040 will leave Paris at
1:15 p.m. and arrive Dallas/Fort Worth at 4:50 p.m. Air France is operating
252-seat Airbus 340 aircraft on the new route, with six seats in L'Espace
Premiere first class, 42 in L'Espace Affaires business class, and 204 in Tempo
economy class.
"The opening of Dallas/Fort Worth for Air France presents Metroplex
passengers with much more than simply another alternative for travel to
Paris," said Jean-Louis Pinson, Air France's executive vice president and
chief operating officer for the Americas. "With nearly 90 convenient onward
flights from Europe's premiere connecting hub in Paris, Air France's excellent
schedule and seamless service bring numerous European and African destinations
closer to home."
Air France's Frequence Plus frequent flier program celebrates the new
Dallas/Fort Worth flight with a double mile redemption offer for members
through Aug. 31. Also, with the carrier's SkyTeam alliance, members not only
can earn and redeem miles on Air France but also on Delta Air Lines,
AeroMexico, Korean Airlines and Czech Airlines.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport will be the second Texas airport
served by Air France. Currently, Air France flies daily between Houston's
George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Paris.

in 88 countries. The airline flies from 13 gateways in the United States and
provides service from an additional 89 cities through its code-share
agreements with Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
