Ouch! At least no-one was injured... so if it was from an aircraft, I wonder if it was 'blue ice' or just plain old regular ice!  Wink

And I'm surprised to hear the home it hit has asbestos in it - I thought that stuff was banned!?


It's better to ask a stupid question during training, rather than make a REALLY stupid mistake later on!

With most types of asbestos already installed in a house, it's safer just to leave it in situ than remove it and risk contamination. Almost every house built 20-60 years ago will have it pretty much everywhere, but it's harmless until you drill, cut or break apart the fibres.
