I've heard that Air Canada has tentatively agreed to take all 9 US Airways aircraft, pending the outcome of the UA/US integration. Has anyone read or know this is fact? Makes sense, though, since the A330 would really be, a sort of oddball in UA's fleet. OR, will it? Time will tell.

Where did you hear this? I have serious questions about it until I hear the source.

Firstly, what is AC going to do with 10 (not 9) 333s?
Secondly, what will AC do about having 9 333s in the fleet powered by PW while the rest are Rolls powered?

DLX, we CURRENTLY have 9 333s in the fleet. The 10th example, which is the last one on FIRM order, is supposedly deferred until late next year, or early 2003. I don't think we'll see it in US Airways colors though....realistically.I've spoken to a few pilots who fly the 333, and this is where the AC rumor comes from. None of the crews think that the 333 will ever see UA colors.

Oh yeah, like their TriStars or SPs, or Delta´s A310s...

Whoops! John I completely forgot that you work for US Airways.

I'm still a skeptic, though. The US configuration just doesn't belong in the AC fleet.
