I remember like a month and a half ago somebody posted on A.net about what the new changes in delta service to alot of cities in the caribbean, central, and south america I believe. I remember seeing on it that Delta was increasing Roatan (RTB) service from 1x a week on saturdays with an MD-88 to 2x a day on saturdays with an MD-88 and also adding a 1x sunday flight with a CR-9 and i want to say also a 1x wednesday flight with a CR-9... Anybody know what happened to any of the new services that were supposed to start?

All I see, at least for December, is the 2X MD88 flights on Saturday.

Yeah same here they are only showing the 2x on saturdays with MD-88's. They used to show the other CR-9 flights loaded I think it was going to be operated by Pinnacle Airlines. Would have been nice

Been there on a cruise ship a couple of times..
Not much there except a couple of nice beach resorts.
Very poor economic conditions. however, the more tourists, the better it is for the island.
safe

If two people agree on EVERYTHING, then one isn't necessary.

Agreed. Took a trip down there with the family last year. Really not much to do but was still a good time. Not much different than many of the beach destinations in the Caribbean or Mexico (tourist wise IMO).

Very good scuba diving... and cheaper than most of the Carribean too.

Wasn't it operated by ASA Atlantic Southeast Airlines ?
They flew to Belize City in the past on behalf of Delta Air Lines mainline and RTB might follow a similar pattern though.

Regards.
