Airtran Aborted Takeoff At LGA

An Airtran flight 206 to Canton aborted takeoff this evening at LGA. There are no reported injuries. Apparently, they aborted takeoff due to an engine fire indicator.


If anyone has any more info, please post.

FAA is investigating whether there was a fire at all. Also sounds like there are some questions over why the FDNY showed up since neither airport rescue nor the tower called them.
