Last summer 2009, AIr France launched a second frequency 4 x Weekly on CDG-BEY-CDG (A332) in addition to its Daily B77W and the 2 x Daily MEA flights.
Next summer 2010, AF will resume this flight AF562/AF561, this time DAILY during the high season, bringing the frequencies up to 4 x Daily on that route.
AF & M.E.A codeshare on all the flights.
CDG ---> BEY :
09:00 - 14:05 AF 566 / ME 206 B77W AF
10:30 - 15:50 AF 564 / ME 210 A332 ME
13:40 - 19:00 AF 568 / ME 212 A332 ME
16:30 - 21:45 AF 562 / ME 208 A332 AF
BEY ---> CDG :
02:05 - 05:45 AF 563 / ME 209 A332 ME
07:55 - 11:35 AF 569 / ME 211 A332 ME
10:25 - 14:00 AF 561 / ME 207 A332 AF
16:05 - 19:35 AF 565 / ME 205 B77W AF
This 4th Frequency will first be operated 3 x Weekly, then will be increased to 4 x Weekly and then 5 x Weekly in June to become DAILY starting June 17th

Quoting BrightCedars (Reply 2): It seems the plane will be spending an awful lot of time at BEY, despite it being the Summer season where airlines usually increase utilization.
Not "that" awful ... arrives in BEY 21h45 on the evening and leaves back to CDG the next morning at 10h25 ...

I just love how much capacity there is on this route.

It would make more sense for ME and AF to swap the 2:05 departure which would make aircraft utilization more efficient. Don't know how that would impact MEA's A330 flights to the gulf though...I'm sure AF and MEA discussed this and AF's fares on the BEY route are probably high enough to compensate for the idoling time.
But nice to see more widebodies blessing the BEY runways...whichever airline it is!!!

Do these flights allow for connections from the AF flights inbound from YUL, I know there was talk about AC or ME operating YUL-BEY but it never materialized..

oh ya...the BEY-CDG flights will connect you anywhere on the AF network + easy access to AC's flights to YUL and YYZ. By the way, you can buy ME-AC tickets to and from Canada (through CDG, FRA, LHR, GVA, FCO) on the MEA website.

I still would like to see KL return to BEY.
