Allegiant & Southwest @ EWR?!

Hi folks,
Flew out of EWR on Saturday and saw an Allegiant plane @ terminal B. Then there was a 2nd one parked on the ramp by terminal A. On their website, they don't show New York/Newark (EWR) as a departure city. So were these planes charters?
Also, since ATA used to fly into EWR, what are the chances of Southwest coming to town?

Thanks in advance for your responses and wish you all a happy and safe holiday season.

I didn't realize there was one for Rutgers.

I know they had one for the Auburn game (also Allegiant) and USF (XJ-145). I'm suprised they had enough for 2 MD80's

Gotta watch Rutgers when they leave for their 12/19 bowl game,

last year they took a CO 772 to BHM.
