Howdy all
About a month ago, I heard from a contact in Georgetown that Guyana Airways 2000 was going to cease operations.
Last night I heard from a guy in Brisbane who used to be a LAME with GA2000 (when they had the A300s from AWAS), and he has gotten confirmation from Georgetown that the airline will cease all operations in the next day or two (if not already).
Can one of our South American/Caribbean members confirm or deny this for me?
Also, if GA2000 does go under, what then for Guyanese aviation?

This Guyana 2000 news makes me very sad . But hey they were really headed to this because they only operated 757 aircraft and at first only the A300 .But who will the new representative of Guyanese. who knows?
