After having read the "Ryanair Says Boeing Deal Is Off...Sort Of" thread I was wondering what airlines are the buyers of ex Ryanair aircraft?
I believe the 738s they are selling are just 4-5 years old and have a dense LCC/charter like configuration.

I believe GOL, Garuda and other indonesian and brazilian carriers have taken some. Legacy carriers are obviously not interested in 738´s in FR´s config.
Never ask somebody if he's a pilot. If he is, he will let you know soon enough!

Brou, chaning configuration is not a major issue. The aircraft would be due a c-check anyways, and re-configuring the aircraft during a c-check is a straight forward exercise.
From receips and radials over straight pipes to big fans - been there, done that, got the hearing defects to prove

How many hours and cycles does an FR 738 rack up in operation compared to a more "average" 737-800 operator? I would bet that a used FR aircraft probably has more wear and tear on it than one form somebody else...

Both of MIAT's 737-800s are ex-Ryanair. They still contain the dense seating, and still havbe the safety instructions posted on the seatback (althought he Ryanair logo is covered with a MIAT sticker).
