Hi, I just visited www.philippineairlines.com and I was surprised to see DL's interior used in PR's ad, the ad is in their homepage advertising the Econo Light Fare, im pretty sure its DL's new Y class product with blue leather and ptvs. Did PR ask permission to DL if they can use their product? Why can't PR use their own interior?

Maybe PR is using similar seats, it could be the cabin of the new 77W.

Quoting JetBlue777 (Thread starter):

For quite some time now blue has been the popular color choice for the seating fabric of many airlines. DL - AA - CO - US - WN - UA and I am sure many more have used this color, ironically B6 has grey seats. My point is, why would they need DL's permission, there's no specific pattern that specifies its a DL plane.

No, PR's 777 are equipped with the Y product kinda similar to KE's, EK's and SQ's

I should have posted this question earlier, do we even know what the interior looks like on their brand new 777-300ERs?

I will take a shot in the dark...

The ad on the website was probably produced by 3rd party vendor. They used whatever image they had on hand and overlayed the PR text.

As mentioned by someone else there is nothing proprietary about the seat used is the ad so they wouldn't need DL's (or any other company) permission for using that image.

I expected more from PR.. their interior is 10 years behind from the standard of most asian airlines.

Well at least they got it similar-ish... I know the seat itself is different, but the actual PTV make/model (Panasonic?) appears pretty much the same!
