Well, thought it time to discuss the disastrous end to the year for Scottish Aviation with Globespan going bust.

Fortunately however, there is some good news, with Thomas Cook Airlines adding an exttra based a/c to GLA next summer, an A320-200. And Ryanair expanding at Prestwick. We shall see what happens at EDI, but Ryanair, easyJet and Jet2 all seem to have the main sunshine destinations covered, but next year see's EDI with no Canada flights, and now, no Florida flights.

What shall 2010 bring for Scotland's aviation scene, we shall have to wait and see..

Be nice to see someone in GLA offering scheduled flights to the Canary
islands filling the void left by GSM for a start.

Anyway hopefully 2010 will be better...
