LH B744 In ATL Today 12/20/09

Anyone know why there was a LH B747-400 in ATL today...It was in ATL around 9AM and still there later in the afternoon parked at the E Concourse. Did the regular A330/340 service cancel one day or something?

I think this was a diversion from IAD yesterday, I could be wrong. I see that the aircraft has now made it to IAD as LH418 (same code as FRA-IAD service)

LH 418 / 19DEC FRA-IAD was diverted into CLT due to the severe weather in the Washington area from where it then continued to ATL.
