This compares what is for sale this week for the stated period versus what was for sale the prior week...NOT the prior year.
How to read:
ABE-MDT 3>2 APR means a reduction in one roundtrip from 3 to 2 for April only
ABE-MDT 3.8>2.7 APR-JUN This is the raw format of the data which sometimes I'm too lazy to retype. It means that over a month they were averaging a little less than 4 trips per day and now it's a little less than 3 per day. So, basically they cancelled 8 flights per week or so. Airliens are doing A LOT of non-daily ops now, so these fractions are pervasive.
ABE-MDT 4>6 MAY- means an increase from 4 to 6 roundtrips starting in May and continuing
ABE-MDT 4>6 MAY-JUN, 5>6 JUL means the change is only for the stated period May to June and then a different change for July in the same route

More slashing of CVG. Not surprising. But being a regular traveler out of CVG for business, the schedules are starting to get really challenging. Of the remaining flights, many of which have had equipment downgrades, I am finding many flights sold out weeks in advance. As a result, I attempt to connect through ATL, DTW or MSP, but due to the connection times, many times these are not an option. So now I am finding myself forced to go to other airlines, like CO or UA, to get the flights I need. I am not talking about travel to small cities, but going to places like NYC and DFW. I can't believe that DL has intended to cut some of the main routes as much as they have out of CVG. Anyone have any insights?

Yikes, DL is flying it with Compass E175s! Jeez.
Anyway, ATL-MYR is a stupid route for NK (sorry!). I can't see that possibly working. It's too short to fly without any connecting passengers. I don't even understand why they are flying it. MYR must be supporting it somehow.
I predict NK will drop it in June or so and DL will drop their retaliation soon after.

I know that DL serves MYR with seasonal mainline, but as of May, 2010 (as expected with NK doing ATL-MYR) DL will have 2x M80s on ATL-MYR of which one M80 is scheduled for an ATL departure 10 mins prior to NK's and arriving MYR 5 mins earlier than NK (and opposed to NK's 1x A319).
DL's M80 schedule on May 19, 2010:
DL1833 ATL 1010 to MYR 1135
DL1746 ATL 1435 to MYR 1550
DL1944 MYR 1215 to ATL 1340
DL1895 MYR 1630 to ATL 1755

Hey no problem thanks for all the effort you do. It is nice to see that DL is putting the E-175 to good use out of LGA. I hope to see more of them there if this slot swap deal goes through. As far as capacity is concerned the 175 should have no problem even with an alternate on either side.
