Does anyone have a picture of an Avianca aircraft with the 90 years titles added?

Here you go:

They should have made a full commemorative livery or a retro livery like the 80th anniversary one, but hey...
I guess we'd have to wait until they turn 100.

I gladly accept donations to pay for flight hours! This thing draws man...

Thanks 757MDE. Nice shot. Are they going to put this on all aircraft?

Yes, I agree that they should have done a retro or special livery for 90 years!

very nice sticker, hope to see a retro livery too.

Dear Colombian citizens ans aviation fans, since about two years i'm preparing a book about the story of Avianca, my favorite airline, it is a very hard work, but I hope the work will be terminated for about the end of 2010 but I need some help sometimes. i'm looking for contacts with captains Alvaro Jamarillo de Villa father and son., so need your help... to enter in contact with them.

You're welcome.
I have no further information regarding a retro livery or the application of this sticker in the rest of the fleet, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen but again, I don't know for sure.

Nice!
How long would the book be? any other info?
Alvaro Jaramillo de Villa... you mean the Captain that flew the 747 into EOH (Olaya Herrera Airport?) If it's so I am afraid he's been dead since late 2003 if I am not mistaken.
His son might be reachable but I don't know how...

Dear 757MDE,

good morning, yes captain Alvaro Jamarillo de Villa was the pilot of first 747 flight (HK-2000) to Olaya Herrera airport in 1976. So I'm sad to know he's dead. His son who wear the same first name ,Alvaro, is a captain with Avianca too, he's flying B767 and A330 aircrafts, I would like to enter in contact with hime, but how?

Many Thanks .

Hello ,

Sorry for late, back after some days .

Concerning the book, yes it is a hard work you know, but very interresting too. I have now some good contacts but I need always more.
In 1982 I went to the Avianca offices in Paris where I saw a very nice photo on the wall. sadly I did never obtain that photo but I know it is from Avianca archives and may be Eldorado airport archives.
I would like to find that photo and put it on the front cover of my book and my memory can give you the description: The photo was taken from the control tower or from the higher storey at Eldorado airport, it is possible to see the two piers; "muelle internacional" on the left with 2 Avianca 747 and one Avianca 707, and "muelle nacional" on the right with some Avianca 727.
This is what i want to illustrate my front cover.

So, if you have that photo...

OK Colinati give your contact

Happy new year Avianca...
