JetBlue Delays Today 23-Dec Why?

I have a flight later tonight on JetBlue and have been playing around with their schedules just now.

It seems 2 in 4 flights are operating or scheduled 45 mins late all day leaving from JFK?

Anyone with insight know why the delays are happenings. I have checked numerous routes, and all the other airlines are listed as ontime.

My one idea is it seems B6 has scheduled a ton of extra flights to get the blizzard travelers out, thus ruining their normal turn times and killing the rest of the schedule. Anyone agree? Different idea?

JetBlue is still playing catch up from the earlier storms. With tight aircraft scheduling and high load factors there is not much leeway.
We've had a slew of curfew violations out here in LA at LGB and BUR in recent days.

Thanks, strange that the delays seem to be compounding today, as yesterday was mostly on time on the same routes.
We'll see what my flight brings.

Don't forget about the huge storm right smack in the middle of the country which could lead to different routing causing flight times to be longer, and delays in some of the airports that are served in the middle of the country:
