Spotting LAX from here at home is awesome. I have seen some awesome aircraft today. Here are the links for everyone if they are not aware of these links. These camera's are in real time and update pretty much every 5-8 seconds. Also flightaware.com and liveatc.net make this even more enjoyable.

Wow, that makes things now more interesting. We need more airports to do this.

I personally like the TG A345 because that is TG795 LAX-BKK normally takes off at around 10:30 PM... not 3 in the afternoon.

Hello Leo,

Good question. I'm not aware of SV flying into LAX. It looks that this picture was taken on
27 SEP of this year. It may have been some special charter flight.

Best Regards,

AMS

I still wish In and Out would put a cam on their roof top or even better the parking spot.

That was the view from my apartment opposite runway 24 at LAX...I lived there for 2 years and never grew tired of the view (though my partner complained repeatedly about the noise!).

Cheers,

Charles

That's funny, I saw that plane take off yesterday just after we landed (I was on AA 1 from JFK):

I still like this one: http://media.myfoxla.com/live/lax/

It's a live stream, not just pictures every so often.

It's all about the destination AND the journey.

That is an awesome camera of they flying by for 24R. Thank you for that. The camera should be angled a little more up and to the left.

Thanks

Saudi Arabian Airlines have lots of charter flights (VIP) to LAX. More in the summertime than in the wintertime.

There was a SV 777 at LAX about two weeks ago. The SP HZ-AIF also makes frequent visits.

I had been given the links to the LAX cams and live ATC by a fellow in the chat room and I have been looking at the cam and hearing the live ATC. It is very nice to listen to the planes and do this "armchair" plane spotting. Also it reminds me of my in-room plane spotting from the LAX Hilton hotel. I always love these airport hotels that provide good views on the runways and airport activity. I always try to include them in my mileage runs. I was a plane spotter from my young age and I think I will be one until I die. Once a plane spotter, always a plane spotter!

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde
