In 1988, I flew IAH-CDG on an Air France 747-200. I was only 3 at the time. My second widebody flight occured 3 hours after my first one ended. I flew ORY-MPL. Was in a high-density 3-3-3 configuration.

Mine was Olympic Airways A300-600R, in Aug. 1992. The aircraft was brand new: had only been flying several ATH-BCN for the Olympic Games (25th July-12th August) and was her first commercial flight.
This was a "regional" flight, though. (2 1/2 hours). After some other several flights, always BCN-ATH-BCN, OAL A300B4s (never flown the -600R again...), my first widebody LONG HAUL was BCN-ATL on Delta L-1011. In the way back to BCN, Aug 1st 1995, we were... 39 pax!!!!

1985- El-Al 767-200 from TLV to FRA. It really sucked as I had to sit in the middle seat of the middle section I was five years old at the time and was (still am) a window-seat freak, so needless to say it was one of the worst flights of my life. Most of the other widebody flights to date were really good though

My 1st widebody flight:
Back in 1972, BOAC 747-136 G-AWNI LHR-NBO-JNB, I too was 10 years old, and I got a trip to the flight deck whilst at FL 370 over Africa. I flew the return trip on the same a/c a couple of weeks later, and again on the same a/c some years later with TWA as N17125 LAX-LHR.
"WNI" was never painted in full BAW c/s before being sold to TWA back in 1981, only in a hybrid BOAC/BAW c/s, still some 7 years after the BEA/BOAC merger !!
I believe Tower Air damaged this a/c beyond repair at JFK a few more years later.

My first wide body flight was a British Airways 747-100 or 200, I forget, back in the mid 80's. I was going from London Gatwick nonstop to PIT. It was excellent. I wish some carrier would bring the 747 back to PIT!
: Its was in 1987,Northwest Orient(at that time),747-100 on the DUB-BOS route(with a stop in Shannon). BA319-131
26 AA 737-800
: In March of 2000, I flew Continental 777-200 from IAH-LGW. It was very cool.
: When I was 4 I apparently flew on a TWA 767 from LGA to STL. However, the first flight I remember was on a TWA L1011 from JFK to STL in 1991. -wes
