At SeaTac in particular, the largest you're likely to see is an A320.
Otherwise, it fluctuates widely depending on the airport and season. Unlike trans-oceanic routes, Canada-U.S. routes are generally short enough for carriers to freely mix and match planes and routes to reflect demand, using anything from Dash 8s to jumbos.

Here at PHX, Aircanada flies A319s, A320s, 767-200s or 767-300s depending on the time of year.

At PHL, the largest I have personally seen is a DC-9 of AC...at FLL I saw an Air Transat L-1011 depart and another one land within 5 minutes of one another...I thought the first one was making an emergency return til I saw the regos were different...

A big hulking AC A319 flies daily to San Diego from Toronto. Canadian flew some enormous 732s to Vancouver once upon a time.

MIA sees A343s, A333s, and B763s during the high seasons. MIA/FLL-YVR is a very popular route. Air Canada also used to operate 741s, L1011s, and DC8s on MIA-YVR. For some wierd reason, I'm not being allowed to post messages with thumbnails, but pics of all 6 aircraft at MIA are in the database incase anybody cares. It's the offeseason now, though, and AC's last 763 flight to MIA is 20 May. The A333s, A343s, and 763s appear usually between October and April. MIA-YUL is done only on A320s and MIA-YVR only on A319s (such a small plane for such a long flight!).

American B757- Is correct about PHX in that AC brings in varried planes for the season. I have seen a 767-200 land on about 4500 feet of concrete in PHX when one of the runways was reduced to only 5,000. It was a site to see!!!
