Hi. I once heard that Pakistan and Air India had propane barbeques on their Boeing 717s. Have they been retired? What kind of menu choices were available? Thanks very many.

That's an oddity. My friend must have misspelled the airplane type. Thank you for the clearification. Thank you for the welcome chepos.

Hey Martinez,

Welcome to Airliners.net! I can't answer your BBQ question but anyway, I presume your friend meat Boeing B747. Both PIA and Air India operate it.

Kind Regards,

Welcome to Airliners, martinez!

I can't answer the BBQ question for you, but perhaps B747-437B can answer that...the Air India guru of all time.  Big grin

Propane or any other open-flame method of cooking onboard passenger aircraft don't mix.

Sounds like an aviation "urban legend" of some sorts...  Smile
