Good to see this kind of behavior being punished. I wonder if he's banned from AC also.

Good! More prosecutions such as this are required in my opinion!

It's a relief to see the government taking such a strong stance here.

I'm fascinated by people who are unable or unwilling to conform to the social dictates of airline passenger protocol and FAA regulations, or are self-involved enough so as to be oblivious to them.

I wonder what the fight was about? A political discussion? A battle over an armrest? It sounds like not enough time to get drunk and disorderly. If he was still yelling after being evicted from the plane, he actually sounds a little unstable.

There should be no-fly lists for the Stupid and Self-Obsessed...

Thanks for bringing up the subject of no-fly lists.

Here in the US, and for the life of me, I have no clue why a person on the " watch list " is allowed to fly at all. Whose human rights are we protecting ?

Absolutely any person who disrupts a flight, operation of a flight or security at a airport should be dealt with like this.

They should also have made him pay (or at least contribute to) the costs of the diversion, which must be expensive for a 777-300ER, not to mention the inconvenience to passengers, many of whom probably missed their connections at FRA due to the delay.

I am thankful he ended up in Quebec. The Quebecois have absolutely no patience for those who play the race card ... as this gentleman did when first charged!
